Traffic Profile Report Overview
If you drive anywhere and see a piece of cable taped across a busy street, intersection or ramp -- you've likely participated in a traffic count update! The traffic count update counts how many vehicles passed over the road over a specified time period. The Traffic Profile report describes traffic patterns around a specified location and displays 25 of the closest available traffic counts for the specified location.

- Closest cross street
- Traffic count
- Year of count
- Distance from a specified location in miles
How to Use Traffic Profile Reports
Examine the roads closest to your chosen location to determine idea spots for outdoor advertising. Use these reports to identify good retail property locations based on traffic patterns. For example, if you are opening up a coffee shop/convenience location, and you know how many travelers pass your location, assuming you get 1 in 50 to stop daily, at an average sale of X dollars, will you make enough to support your business model?
